Weekly Connections
Every Wednesday we gather between 12-1:30pm downstairs in the University Center at UCSB (UCen) to have a time of conversation and connection while we eat, and every other Tuesday we have an adventure around town where we see new places and get to know one another. We look forward to socializing, helping you connect with other students, practice English conversation, and learn about each of our cultures. This is also open to spouses of students. Friday Night Dinners
Every other Friday night, international students can meet together at an American home. We build community by enjoying dinner together, playing fun games, and getting to know one another through small discussion groups and socialization. It is a great time to practice your English and learn about other cultures. Spouses are also welcome.

Special events are planned throughout the year. Some of the events include our annual Thanksgiving dinner, hiking trips, game nights, beach days, art shows, an Easter celebration, and Spring Break trips. Airport Pickup
We would be happy to make arrangements to pick up students arriving at Santa Barbara Airport. Please contact us at least one week in advance. For transportation from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) click on Santa Barbara Airbus at www.sbairbus.com, and let us know if you would like transportation from the Airbus drop-off to UCSB.
